  26. What is the package 'TimeGuardian'?
  27. ====================================

  29. 'TimeGuardian' is a program package which allows you to start easily
  30. events, that have to be done at certain times or dates on your computer.
  31. It provides you so called 'Reminders' and 'Alerts' to remind you of very
  32. important events you should not forget. You can also write log files to
  33. disk, where you can see when your computer has been switched on.

  35. Who can use TimeGuardian?

  39.  * You are a software developer and want to know how much time you spent on
  40.    a certain project?
  41.  * You use your computer in busines and for private, and want to know how

  59. Then you need TimeGuardian!

  62. Short introduction:

  65. This is a short introduction for those, who don`t want to read the
  66. documentation before the installation. Only certain important facts are
  67. mentioned. The complete documentation is in the directory 'english'.
  68.  
  69. Assumptions:
  70. ------------
  71.  * OS version >= 2.0
  72.  * MUI >= 2.0
  73.  * Installer, for the installation (has to be in the search path, e.g.'C:')
  74.  * Amiga Guide, that means amigaguide.library (for the online help)
  75.  
  76. When the assumptions are fulfilled, you can immediately start the
  77. installation by doubleclicking on the icon 'TGinstall.english'. The program
  78. package will be installed. Whilst the installation you are asked, whether
  79. you want to start the preferences program. When you start it, and want to
  80. get more information about the gadgets, move the mouse pointer over an area
  81. of the graphical user interface an press the 'Help' key on your keyboard.

  83. When you don`t know, what to answer when the installation asks, then read
  84. the entire documenttion.
